Girls Spring Abstinence Tea

The Girl's Spring Abstinence Tea was created in 1998 to present the importance of sexual purity until marriage. At the tea, the girls are welcomed by women of the community who have beautifully decorated the tables and provided all the food for the tea-style luncheon. Each year over 700 seventh grade girls in Muskogee and Checotah are challenged by the speaker to make wise and healthy choices regarding their sexuality.

Rush for Life 5K

This annual 5K event is held as a fundraiser for the PRC, as well as to raise public awareness of our center and the services we provide. Each year approximately 200 runners/walkers participate. We give each participant an event t-shirt, and give awards to winners in each age group.

Honoring our Mothers

Each Spring in the weeks leading up to Mother's Day, the PRC receives donations to honor their mother, both living and deceased. It is a great way for children to say thank you to their mother on this special day.
