volunteering

Volunteers are the lifeline of our center. People volunteer for us each year and make the difference in the lives of hundred of girls in our community. Find out how to become our partner.

our Board

The joy and wonder of the births of my three children is one of the reasons I’m in pro-life work. The other is a desire to honor God, the giver of life. So, it was natural that once my husband, Phil, and I heard of “Oklahomans for Life” meeting in Muskogee, we became members. (This organization founded the Pregnancy Resource Center in 1987.) I have been a volunteer for 27 years and the director since 2008. My passion is to love on these young women and encourage them to have hope in a future with their baby. I often share Psalm 139:16. “All my days were written in your book before one of them came to be.” With conviction and compassion I explain that this verse is not just about the life they are carrying but also a truth applied to them. God has a plan for our lives and it is exciting to join Him as He reveals it. This is true for me too. I believe being at the Pregnancy Resource Center is God’s plan for me at this time and I hope you will join me--pray, donate, volunteer.
