Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the lifeline of our ministry.  There are many areas where you can use your God-given talents to serve at the PRC.  Below is a list of the span of volunteer opportunities we offer, ranging from direct contact with clients to serving behind-the-scenes. Client Advocates

Trained volunteers who minister to female clients during their initial visit. These volunteers receive a minimum of nine hours of classroom instruction and complete approximately 16 hours of in-house training. They are then mentored by staff and experienced volunteers as they learn to coordinate client activities. These volunteers are required to be involved in continuing education as long as they serve at the center. To apply to become a Client Advocate please fill out our volunteer application here.

Receptionists 

Trained volunteers who answer the center’s phone, respond to questions of prospective clients, and make appointments for them to come to the center.

Male Volunteers

Trained male volunteers who minister to and mentor male clients who are involved in an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. They also provide help with maintenance and special projects. 

Marketing Volunteers

These volunteers assist with the Center's fundraising efforts including the annual Rush for Life 5K, Honoring You Mother Offering and more.

Liaison

Serve as the vital link between your church and PRC, keeping in regular communication with your church leadership regarding the ministry needs and upcoming events, and how PRC can serve your church body.
